Installing automatic tire chains is easy for the mechanic?

Mandatory equipment or comfort’s accesories, each installation of a vehicle requires a mounting made by a professional. What about the installation of automatic tire chains? How is it fixed? In how long time ? Discover it through this article.

Why this is automatic ?

Basically, there is two types of tires chains : The manual chains that you put on the tires of the vehicle, and the automatic version that is activated by a switch on the cabin, as the Onspot system.

Manual tire chains is only use by the driver, while the automatic tire chains is installed, maintened and repaired by a mechanic. But what it exactly requier from you ?

What about the mounting ?

The automatic snow chains Onspot is fitted on both sides of the vehicle’s first drive axle. For each vehicle to equip with Onspot, you will receive specific brackets and switch, cylinders with solenoid and chains.

Like a lot of equipment that you have to install for the first time, you can be apprehensive when it comes to the simplicity or not of the assembly ... - No worries to be made. Layout guides, some with photos, and a technician network is available to accompany you in your mounting that will last between 5 to 8h for the first time.
